Interview with Jfons on New R&B Music ‘Live Come Let Us Rejoice’ & More

MuzicNotez: First off, it’s an honor to be doing this interview with you, thanks for taking the time to sit down with us.

What have you been up to since we last talked? What’s new in your music career?

  • Jfons: I’m working on a new project
    urban contemporary gospel Lp
    but just same Traditional are even contemporary
    but a mixture of street message , beats and music Neo/Soul, upbeat worship music
    and some Traditional .
    bring the message of God not just
    the four walls of the Church
    but I’m taking it to the Streets

Lately, what has been your biggest influences in the music you create?

  • Jfons: Still influenced by artists like Stevie wonder, Donny Hathaway , Kirk franklin, Ronnie Milsap, red hammond
    just to name a few.

When creating your music, what is your writing process like?

  • Jfons: I have no set method are Pattern
    whatever comes first it could lyrics
    are music/ melody.

Do you ever perform your music live?

  • Jfons: Yes very chance i get
    i did a big Christmas show in one of the biggest venues/ Mall in Atlanta georgia an still doing shows.

What is the latest track you’ve released? Tell us about it?

  • Jfons: Live Come let us rejoice
    They were Three” and Christmas ain’t Christmas without you (All Live concert)

You are a genre bender with the music you create, how would you describe your sound?

  • Jfons: I wouldn’t call it genre bender cause i create whatever I feel at the moment, but in spiritual ram of it all it’s whatever God lay on my heart and mine there’s no one lane are category for me.

Music is in your blood with your family lineage, how has that shaped your music career and sound?

  • Jfons: As I stated many times before on interviews, magazines as well as television programs, I come from a background of music heavily influence by jazz pop rock gospel Blues
    A grandmother son background for Mahalia Jackson my grandfather played in a blues band
    my uncle did jazz in New Orleans, Louisiana
    so with that said I’ve been influence by many different styles of music bringing all those elements of music into my gospel LP.

What else are you working on? What can we expect to see and hear from you in the future? Tell us about the new singles coming up leading to your new album.

  • Jfons: Working on my gospel project, hopefully out by the summer 2026
     hearing my music not only bring Church to your soul but you won’t be able to keep still

Anything else you wish to say about yourself or your music? Any message for your fans?

  • Jfons: Same artist that brought you
    music like Slow it down, Can i get minute
    How Close Baby you got me
    Same artist good vibes and music
    just a different message
    so rock with me all the way to heaven.
