Artist Interviews
Interview with Hennizi Da Don on Rap Music, Controversies & More
MuzicNotez: First off, it’s an honor to be doing this interview with you, thanks for taking the time to sit down with us.
What’s your opinion on west coast vs east in rap music? Is there still a divide like there was years ago? Is there a bias?
- Hennizi Da Don: I believe the tension is still in the air. I got beef with that rapper on the other side. Guess they call him The Game it’s edgy quite frankly and many know the tactics never fail the levels of hate. Well that hate shit is common the segregation in artists on the East Coast getting signed is iffy compared to the West Coast seems like favoritism. I see the comparisons of the 1990’s era of lack or lacking on their side they got no fore runner. But that’s the way it is and there is no other way around it. I discovered a lot of biased situations in Hip – Hop these days. It’s like I’m shunned and they doubt the dark cloud I’m releasing in the music scene. These are the thorns of a tarnished legacy and the West Side does not hold serious merit in these honors.
I think my product of musical rhapsody controls the complete succession in music with its allotted fiercest combination.
Who is Jizz Myles Black and how do you feel about him?
- Hennizi Da Don: A local rapper that runs his mouth immensely he is scared to step too on the mic.
He knows that I created my style on the streets and off thoroughly.
And also he is crying because slept with his wife. I’m destroying him by begging to live in my apartment. Because he’s on hard times he likes nose candy, yes nose candy. I think when he is more of a wanksta hustler he does better then a so – called hit making gangsta rapper. I know him from way back without Fowler Street he ain’t shit they make him think like he’s big little whatever. And that’s real. I don’t need all that, all I need is one mic , he catches cases then switches up.
It’s like the Fresh Prince of Bel – Air . Make up your mind one minute church then marriage then streets then gangsta rapper. Yeah he is known for a song called Reap What U Sow totally did garbage in street sales. In the Boston ,Massachusetts music scene.

What are your thoughts on the MMA fighter Lionel Boogz Young?
- Hennizi Da Don: I think he needs to get his wins up more in fighting. Last thing I heard he was hooked on hard drugs. We never really saw eye to eye growing up. But I hope he gets it together, please do for real. I hope it all works out for him. I wish him a peaceful journey whichever path he chooses for greater or lesser.
Do you think your music is controversial? If so, why and would that be a good thing? Does controversy make you feel threatened?
- Hennizi Da Don: My music is there to help out those in need to gain understanding whether they are going through hard times. Or got dumped by their ex or simply want to zone out to some good music. Or maybe motivation but yes my music is controversial. And it contradicts surfaces of many aspects in life’s tales of how it is absorbed as of such. Because controversy separates the men from the boys. It’s a lethal form of pressure. That not many can handle in its truest level it can bring incomparable power your way. The controversy does not make me feel threatened at all, it makes me feel fulfilled. What will be will be.
Where do you see your music career in 10 years from now? What kind of legacy do you see being built?
- Hennizi Da Don: If God extends my life, something serious and explosive will come up in the music world. Personally, the world is not ready for me in music by then.
I’m taking the world by storm right now. This will be very effective just as powerful. A lot of my musical talents will increase , and I am assured that these will be the concerns from my fan base.
The direction I wish to build with my legacy is something everyone worldwide can be proud of.
The legacy foundations I’m building are fabulous as of right now.
I’m trying to let my name live forever and beyond. I’m trying to become historic and go down in history.
I’m already a public figure. I want to keep that and advance towards greater ground.
Do you think musicians have a responsibility to help out in their neighborhood? If so, how so? What do you do?
- Hennizi Da Don: Yes, by kicking knowledge to the youth getting them involved in the studios . And recording music and getting them involved in music programs. Helping out the theatres and talent shows in the local areas to know we see what they’re going through and we care.
It’s all interest or lack of it and the precise decisions in the observant cooperation that surfaces and now that’s watzup.
It seems like you have beef with some of the top hip hop artists, such as Jay Z whom you went after in your last album. What has caused this?
- Hennizi Da Don: It stems from when 2pac dissed Biggie Smalls and I laughed and he and a lot of stars are holding grudges. He told a joke it was funny fuck it I laughed. They made it on my album Still Haven’t Changed Mii Voicemail. I brought it to him. They called me simple for it or a fool not true. I think Biggie was not prepared for war.
So Jay Z wanted to do girly disses to break up relationships with me and various lovers I had out of jealousy because those women were into me. My new shit is gonna fade ’em all watch and see. I am Mr. Elite aka Hennizi Da Don I keep it flossy everytime.
What else are you working on? What can we expect to see and hear from you in the future? Tell us about the new singles coming up leading to your new album.
- Hennizi Da Don: Trying to get some business ventures going and various albums trying to complete and make more of a name for myself.
I plan to encourage myself in recording more music and getting collaborations on songs.
Anything else you wish to say about yourself or your music? Any message for your fans?
- Hennizi Da Don: Dedicated to my fans the DJ’s the radio stations that support my music respect and internet radio worldwide
