Artist Interviews
Interview with Hennizi Da Don on his Charting Rap Music, Limelight, Collaboration & More
MuzicNotez: First off, it’s an honor to be doing this interview with you, thanks for taking the time to sit down with us.
You went to Florida back in 2002, which motivated you to become a musician. What happened to influence that?
- Hennizi Da Don: Before I went to Florida I was in a relationship with my baby mother which led to the hugest breakup i’ve ever received.
Me and my girlfriend broke up then I had a dream of myself or a premonition that I would become a mega star as a musician.
A lot of family encouraged me to pursue my dreams in music and find myself in the world of Hip – Hop.
I was shown the arts in some form about adopting an identity in music and become that.
It is I guess a form of sex , drugs , and rock and roll within itself.
I loved her with my heart.
She kind of abandoned me.
This thing called music was my childhood dream so I resumed my dream.
But I had a dream in my sleep that I would be one of the greatest musicians of my time.
I just followed in that direction.
Sometimes things do not work out but I make the best of situations in every way.
It all came to me clearly.
I saw myself on stages and in front of important people regarding music.
And I knew this was for me.
Have you ever felt like your in the limelight in your career? What would you consider that to be and how does it feel?
- Hennizi Da Don: Yes I feel like I’m in the limelight with my music career and I feel somewhat promised.
There’s highs and there’s lows but I always seem to maneuver in those arranged degrees.
I bear my candlestick of truth in the bearing of how I proclaim a top spot that nobody can produce accept me
Because my higher power gives me that.
A lot of people profess these political essences of who it is.
I’m real about it, remember when The Game hollered I said ‘’ Hit Em Down’’.
Only a true player hater would unnecessarily activate that type of hate you know.
The Game is begging to live at my house asking for food when I know him but I understand it’s a cold world.
But damn think it all catches up.
It’s a gem hidden within itself.
This battle is taking a toll on our whole generation.
See were all put before the masses for whatever moment and if the decision is not accomplished then you fuzz out.
It’s like soda when it goes flat.
See the question is war is he ready for i’m not a hater in this rap shit I developed a measure of power.
He can not conquer my equilibrium.
I got him cornered.
It was like when I caught the 4 bullets each slug was for a borough in Boston and they’re paying the price til this day.
I eclipsed The Game style he’s crying foul but this is Hip- Hop its like what 50 cent did to Ja Rule.
Nay I ain’t the bully degrading manuscripts but its measured and analyzed wait also obtained.

J. A. E. held the artists Big Ax and Lil Ax and Young Nation was with me and rest in peace Cov G.
It was to keep me interested in music and out of trouble which I still fell into sometimes.
The band broke up due to negativity and over indulged drug usages and selling of these products.
The group formed in the 1990’s exploitation of the crack era.
But nothing really came from it all in the two groups besides my solo which in the future.
There was also the group The Elite with me and K-BI and K-BI was a producer.

Who are your favorite women of hip hop? How do you feel they are doing on the scene today?
- Hennizi Da Don: All of them are my favorite.
I like them all.
I think they are not getting enough credit but I respect their craft.
They are managing to keep music alive for ages to come.
I feel they will create the responses we’re looking for to crank up the noise.
They need to see the way the consequences draw up in the situation they are respected.
They are good.
