January 17th, the Jackson Mathod new jazz EP ‘Studio Natives, Vol. 1’ came out! Jackson is a brilliant trumpet player, that has received attention from BBC London, Jazz FM and joined the stage with Stormzy at Glastonbury. He releases his own brand of music and has done a lot of work as a session musician. Jackson is a well trained jazz musician and singer. His music is an eclectic and exciting new take on the classic genre.

The newest release by Jackson Mathod, ‘Studio Natives, Vol. 1’, includes 5 new instrumental tracks. Each, of course showcasing Jackson on his trumpet, along with a jazz beat, electric keys and other classic jazz elements to create a full sound. A lot of times, instrumental releases can kind of blend together a bit, but with this EP, each track is totally unique and stands out. The music pops and is fresh, while also remaining true to the strong roots of the iconic jazz genre.
