Do you have an overall vision for your music? What is it?

What do you think about the current state of hip hop?

Hennizi Da Don: The current state of hip hop is cool I can survive I earned my spot I’m pretty happy for everyone I’m not mad everybodies trying to make it in music well life to hopefully it does not interfere with me I’m rather pleased I’m getting money I am not bitter with any ones brand or brands or acts I do not know if there upset with me I do not care about that I’m just happy for my achievements it’s all about can you survive with longevity the music business is sketchy you know publishing could be a blessing.

Do you consider yourself a rapper, or a hip hop artist? Do you rap or rhyme in your music?

Hennizi Da Don: : Whether rapper or hip hop artist I’m both I rhyme in my music
Like when I come with

Rhyme:
Holla if you know me/ solely claiming you a thug what you told me/ jesus prayed in gatheseme / was hated by the pharisees/so how these rappers gon challenge me

See I did it right there but yeah I’m just focused and I see a lot of what I make a lot of people can’t record or write so they lose greatly see none can test I handle pressure well I’ve been hated by music stars they steal lyrics and styles but it’s not about that the hate always pursues and see player haters a player hater at the end of the day.

But whatever floats your boat I’m here to educate the youth in the younger generation to value there potential and move into that direction before they waste it behind bars or even in prison for life sentences.

What kind of challenges have you had in your music career?

Hennizi Da Don: Setbacks and court cases’ and near pregnancies with almost knocking up my girlfriend yeah it did not stop my music career it inspired it more ruthlessly than before and the dream in my music career inhabits how it should be and you know when I was 17 years old the feds locked me up with the gang I was running with at the time I beat a gun case a gun with a body on it it was a federal raid in 2001 also prior to the raid I violated probation nobodies perfect but I am just trying stay positive about life trying to do right now I’m trying to turn my life around that’s when I went back to my solace which is music.

Covid has had an effect on a lot of artists, how has it effected you?

Hennizi Da Don: I was vaccinated two doses and a booster shot I felt I needed to get vaccinated I felt it would help my situation I’m a lot better in 2023 I was vaccinated I got a call from my mother she called my house asked me to get vaccinated I did as she asked you know it’s deep but yeah there were whom I’d call associates urging me to vaccinate as well also so I did it probably saved my life.

What are you working on now? What’s coming up next?

Hennizi Da Don: I’ll play it by ear but you will be the first to know but im working new unreleased albums and songs singles releases and social media reels.
