Do you enjoy listening to brand new doo-wop inspired music? So do we! Here, we’re reviewing the Surely Shirley retro Debut EP ‘Sailors & Clowns’. The Surely Shirley nostalgic sound is a real blast from the past. This is largely due to inspiration from their grandparents old school music taste. Surely Shirley consists of two twin sisters, Jenaya and Anisha Okpalanze from Australia. They have brilliantly taken their love for the classics, and created a brand new, original and authentic sound. We absolutely love everything about this project, the vibes are all there.

The new debut EP by Surely Shirley that we’re enjoying listening to right now (and you should be too!) is called ‘Sailors & Clowns’. It includes 6 original new tracks, and we love all of them! This is one of the best debut EP’s we’ve heard. When you hit play, you’re immediately transported back to a 60’s doo-wop. But somehow, at the same time, it sounds new and fresh. Anisha and Jenaya are very talented artists. They harmonize beautifully, the songwriting is brilliant, and their music just feels effortless. It’s as if the music just flows through them, not forcing anything, just doing what they love.
