Interview with Hip Hop Artist Zigadies Shaffer on his new music & more
MuzicNotez: Thanks for taking the time to do this interview with us! What motivated you to start creating music? What age did you begin?
Zigadies Shaffer: Thank you so much for the opportunity to be here! I got to say the MuzicNotez web page is an Amazing Tool for any artist getting serious about the direction of there music. i have had music in my blood from the moment i took my first breath. The motivation to start creating music hit me fully at somewhere in the jr high years! i was an angry kid who had a very traumatizing past and was intrigued by Edger Allan poe, i had a hardback version of “The rose that grew from concrete” and actually started writing poetry by writing suicide letters, and teenage fuckboy notes. at some point an art teacher directed to me to write when i was angry (which was a lot) and then i was introduced to Hip Hop! Master P make EM say, Cypress Hill, “insane in the brain” Everlast! i found things i had written being said in songs “And fools run up wrong, I’m knockin’ out some teeth” and from there i bathed in the hiphop waters of Any and all types of music.
Who were your musical influences, idols, or bands growing up that have helped mold you into the musician you are today? Or helped mold the music that you create?
Zigadies Shaffer: O man! with a new found love of music and never staying in one place for very long i took influence, from so many styles! my first Fall in love with music moment Has to be seeing the “phantom Of the opera” in New York! And Meatloaf”” Bat out of hell”. Everclear, i found Tech nine!, i found myself listening to Slug and Atmosphere finding something i could mirror and adapt like water., and being well rounded of different environments and cultures! ACDC to Nappy roots, i became a witty smart ass, and found myself naturally developing Punchlines and Zinggers! That would raise eyebrows or make a tense situation brake out in laughter! …….Help mold the MuZic. i make?! The 3 Artist that i find myself relating to the most! Not just musically but in persona, struggles, and Message! First one is DMX….i seen him in concert shortly after Flesh of my Flesh blood of my blood” release and couldn’t believe How He Started his set With a prayer that wasn’t just a thank you god lets party…….. but moved the spirit in me, and then realizing as a thin short white boy in a DEF Jams concert He was no bigger then me! but his words and his performance had me thinking he was 7ft 350 lbs with set of 30lb ballz.! and his message always struck me deep.
The second artist has to be MGk! his first tour he would sit in line and listen to the people who bout tickets talk and had a whole KellzVision and how he has evolved as an artist my third is ToM Mcdonald watching his journey always left me feeling like he was setting the bar for what could be done Independent And with straight vision and drive, and The way he network and promotes himself like a wrestler or a movie always is in my mind of way to approach projects!
What’s the ultimate goal you want your music to achieve, or for you to achieve in your career as a musician? Any particular message you wish to send?
Zigadies Shaffer: To Make the Best music I can, to make wattz Creationz get as big and go as far as The dream was!

What’s the latest release of yours? Tell us about it.
Zigadies Shaffer: Bare My Scars” is a deeply personal and intense track that showcases My ability to weave together despair and redemption through lyrical storytelling. The song’s hard rock chorus, while not fully dialed in, sets the tone for a raw and emotional listening experience.
The lyrics are a highlight, offering a glimpse into the turmoil and vulnerability. Lines like “I tried to make it right… only to see the conversation a dead end” cut deep, making the listener uncomfortable yet invested in the journey. The track’s cinematic storytelling through emotions and events, leaving the feeling I am bleeding my heart out on this debut single.
