Interview with Shia Athimen/ MIDNIGHT SILENCE WRITING PRODUCTIONS

MuzicNotez: First off, it’s an honor to be doing this interview with you, thanks for taking the time to sit down with us.

What motivated you to start creating music? What age did you begin?

• Shia Athimen/ MIDNIGHT SILENCE WRITING PRODUCTIONS: Started out writing poetry in early teens and learn to play guitar when I was about 8. A lot of my creations come from dreams.

MuzicNotez: Who were your musical influences, idols, or bands growing up that have helped mold you into the musician you are today? Or helped mold the music that you create?

• Shia Athimen/ MIDNIGHT SILENCE WRITING PRODUCTIONS: First off it was my family, my brother Jimmy Walden jr. Jimmy Walden Sr. Raised me to appreciate music, our lifes were constantly surrounded with it. That’s something that just has to come out of me. Whether it’s good or bad. The feelings just have to surface. good ones bad ones. Then there was REO Speedwagon and Ozzy Osbourne Black Sabbath.

MuzicNotez: What’s the ultimate goal you want your music to achieve, or for you to achieve in your career as a musician? Any particular message you wish to send?

• Shia Athimen/ MIDNIGHT SILENCE WRITING PRODUCTIONS: I would like for people to know that I feel what they feel, the love, the sorrow, all the hate the world is offering. Not so much of the first one. And that Crazy isn’t only a word, it’s also a way of life.

MuzicNotez: What’s the greatest concert you’ve ever been to or performed?

• Shia Athimen/ MIDNIGHT SILENCE WRITING PRODUCTIONS: That would have to be the whole summer of 1988 when I had the honer of singing and playing along with Jimmy Walden on lead guitar, Clay Walden on drums, Doug Martin on bass, and last but not least Jeff Kerh when we toured and rocked as “DRAGON WOLF”

MuzicNotez: Your latest release is the single ‘I Knew This All Along’, what’s this song about?

• Shia Athimen/ MIDNIGHT SILENCE WRITING PRODUCTIONS: This song is about today’s modern day romance. A guy who’s girlfriend is taking advantage of him, and he knew it all along but he stuck with her anyway. That is until he had no more to give. she took it all and left him standing there wondering what to think. And he just wanted her to know she didn’t take it from him he gave it to her willingly. he knew it all along.

MuzicNotez: How do you write your music?

• Shia Athimen/ MIDNIGHT SILENCE WRITING PRODUCTIONS: these days since Im the only member of MIDNIGHT SILENCE WRITING PRODUCTIONS usually it’s by myself most of time one instrument at a time.

MuzicNotez: What’s your favorite kind of guitar to play? What would be your dream guitar?

• Shia Athimen/ MIDNIGHT SILENCE WRITING PRODUCTIONS: Gibson Les Paul

MuzicNotez: What else are you working on? What can we expect to see and hear from you in the future?

• Shia Athimen/ MIDNIGHT SILENCE WRITING PRODUCTIONS: I just recently started over with a kind of country music. I haven’t given up Rock yet but I’m exploring my boundaries with country music again. Although I wouldn’t call my music rock or country it’s just me.

MuzicNotez: Anything else you wish to say about yourself or your music? Any message for your fans?

• Shia Athimen/ MIDNIGHT SILENCE WRITING PRODUCTIONS: I want people to know that it don’t matter what others might think of you. Whether your good enough or not. Other people’s opinions should matter little in your life as long as you’re doing what you believe is right. Do what makes you feel good. It’s your choice, your life. You’re capable of doing what you want to do. that’s what counts. when you feel it deep inside don’t hold it back let it Go.
