The very talented Carter Martin has released his debut EP ‘Melrose’. Carter Martin is a songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. He was born in Maryland and is classically trained on piano, vocally and plays guitar among other instruments. Carter has a bachelors degree for music songwriting from Berklee College of Music and it shows. His songs are hard to classify under any one genre, sort of a mixture of folk, rock and pop all into his own unique sound. The main thing you’ll realize right away when listening to Carter is that he’s an excellent songwriter and all around just a great artist.

The new EP ‘Melrose’ has 5 new, original songs by Carter Martin. Every song on the album is completely unique and stands apart on its’ own. The overall vibe is very upbeat and positive. His songwriting style is poetry in motion, his songs are a soundtrack to a beautiful day. Carter’s music has a lot of depth too though, such as the final track ‘Surreptitious Sailors’ which really takes you on a journey. Carter Martin is a modern day composer that creates a symphony of sound all by himself. This is just the beginning of a long career in music and we can’t wait to hear what’s next.
