We last reviewed Izzie’s Caravan single, “Drownin’ Man’s Blue’s”, which is the lead single to their latest 4 track EP ‘On The Pull’. The blues-rock band is lead by it’s namesake, ‘Izzie’. With strong classic rock and blues influences, combined with a new age edge, they create a strong sound of their own, showcased in this EP which you can listen to below.
The EP kicks off with the title track ‘On The Pull’, and grabs your interest immediately, getting you rockin’. Next, is the before mentioned ‘Drownin’ Man’s Blue’s’, which provides a steady groove and a nice blues riff. Third, is ‘Boneyard Blues’, this one adds another dynamic with more revved up vocals, a blues harmonica and a lot more jamming. The EP finishes out strong with another blues jam, ‘Whiskey Ale Blues’, which finishes with the harmonica winding it down appropriately.
