Fronted by Italian singer, bassist, composer and writer Maurizio Amato, DIMH Project kicked off back in 2014. Since then, they have released some amazing classically inspired albums. You can definitely hear the foundation blocks of inspiration from the likes of 80’s Rock icons Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Whitesnake.
Maurizio began his music early at the age of 12, and has since been trained in musical theory professionally throughout the years. He has played in several local bands in Italy before ultimately forming the DIMH Project. Now, in 2019 the second album ‘From Hell to a State of Grace’ was released. The album features 12 tracks, some hard hitting rock tracks and some more laid back ballads.
The video below is for the track ‘4 O’clock in the Morning’, which was inspired by the fight against exploiting immigrants. All of the tracks on this album have deeply rooted meaning in life changing current events, emotions and politics. The album is very well put together, the music is all excellently produced, and as you can see the music video is brilliantly done. Can’t wait to hear what’s next!
