“Wait for it, the tallest hill. Colena mas alta… the tallest hill!”

Elizmi Haze is a UK-born singer-songwriter from Kent whose musical influences stem from Motown Soul, R & B, Pop, and Hip-Hop. One of her latest tracks, Tallest Hill, debuted at number 1 on the PR Top 100 (June 2016). It was also in rotation on BBC Radio–Introducing.
Being bullied as a teenager in and out of school and having little friends, she began writing her emotions down as an outlet. Elizmi Haze wrote Tallest Hill about ascending to the top despite the hurdles along the way. As a tribute to where it all started for her, she incorporated the phrase, colena mas alta — Spanish for tallest hill — she took A-level Spanish in high school and was raised in Spain before she returned to her homeland. The track’s uplifting and persevering vibe gives it a highly relatable and catchy-esque tone, but very much in Elizmi’s own way.
