Alternative rock artist Jennifer Hope recently joined Cleopatra Records and released her new 5 song EP ‘Love Blooms to Black’ This EP features covers of hit songs from a wide array of artists including Leona Lewis, Coldplay, The Police, U2 and Godsmack. She doesn’t just cover these classic tracks though, she completely redoes them and makes it her own. They all hold her own unique sound while portraying a completely new interpretation that you’ve never heard of before. It’s really cool to hear such a new and re-invented take. She picked a perfect combination of songs to include on her EP too.
While creating on her latest record Jennifer worked closely with quite the list of renowned producers. The list includes Warren Huart (worked with Aerosmith, The Fray, James Blunt), Pete Strobl (Kings of Leon, Keb’ Mo’), and Tommy Reeves (Ziggy Marley, Melissa Etheridge, Sophie B., Hawkins). It’s no surprise that the release of ‘Love Blooms to Black’ attracted the attention of Cleopatra Records whom said, “Jennifer Hope will capture you with her incomparable interpretations of well-known songs”.
