‘Eyes Wide Open’ is Tree of Wolves second single in as many months. Returning to ‘Nant Y Benglog’ with producer John Lawrence (ex Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci) to build on the success of ‘Icy Water’ the band produce a snapshot of youthful summer.
With a golden shimmer driven by a post punk rhythm ‘Eyes Wide Open’ is a journey away from heartache as the ‘star filled sky finally falls back in’.
The band were fortunate to work with the artist Marred Lenny ‘swcidelic’ on the cover. She has captured the songs essence perfectly in a collage of vibrant colours.
