Review of Big G's Latest Soul Song 'It's Crazy' Artist Interviews

Interview with Soul Artist Big G

MuzicNotez: First off, it’s an honor to be doing this interview with you, thanks for taking the time to sit down with us. What motivated you to start creating music? What age did you begin?

Big G: My motivation for the love of music came from hearing someone play the guitar up close for the first time. To hear the sound coming out of the amplifier was truly amazon and learning to play by ear just made it more exciting. I began playing at 11 years old.

Who were your musical influences, idols, or bands growing up that have helped mold you into the musician you are today? Or helped mold the music that you create?

Big G: Roy C Hammond has been my biggest mentor, as well as Clarence Carter and Percy Sledge. Also was influenced by the following bands: Creedence Clearwater Revival, the Eagles and Tom Petty.

What’s the ultimate goal you want your music to achieve, or for you to achieve in your career as a musician? Any particular message you wish to send?

Big G: I would like for my listeners to take time to listen to the story that I am telling.

What’s the greatest concert you’ve ever been to or performed?

Big G: The downhome festival in Rocky Mount North Carolina.

You have a music video for ‘My Lucky Day’. The song and video turned out great! What’s the process like when you’re making a music video? What’s your team like?

Big G: You want to have the viewers to really understand what the song is all about.

Another music video for ‘It’s Crazy’ has over 2 million views already! How does it feel to see so much love for your music?

Big G: Humbled to God and much LOVE to the fans.

You’re finding success like this as an independent artist, what kind of advice would you give to other artists coming up to find success?

Big G: Stay true to yourself and really believe in yourself.

What else are you working on? What can we expect to see and hear from you in the future?

Big G: At this point of my career, I would love to spend more time in the studio producing.

Anything else you wish to say about yourself or your music? Any message for your fans?

Big G: First of all, I would like to Thank all my fans for taking the time to listen to my music. Some of my songs are fun, some are relaxing, some you must read between the lines… but my songs are always for the adult generation who has just begun to live and love. When you want to hear the truth about life itself, put on some Big G and have yourself a journey.
