Interview with Afropop Artist Le ‘Beau

MuzicNotez: What motivated you to start creating music? What age did you begin?

Le ‘Beau: I was motivated to start making Music because of my love and passion for Music and started when I was very young. I started by singing with anything around the house in Nigeria while mimicking artists singing and dancing. At age 17 I started going into the studio while I released my first studio single titled Jaye Jaye in 2022 and my latest single My titled Brother on 4-15-2023.

Who were your musical influences, idols, or bands growing up that have helped mold you into the musician you are today? Or helped mold the music that you create?

Le ‘Beau: The following Afropop/Afrobeat artists in Nigeria, like Rema, Davido and Kizz Daniel influenced my love for Music while looking forward to sing , Behave and act like them.

What’s the ultimate goal you want your music to achieve, or for you to achieve in your career as a musician? Any particular message you wish to send?

Le ‘Beau: My ultimate goals is to be best and most successful artist from Nigeria and Africa in general when talking of Afropop/.Afrobeat. I want to make Music that makes my fans happy while looking forward to winning Musical awards internationally and to win Grammy as well.

What’s the latest release of yours? Tell us about it.

Le ‘Beau: My latest release is titled My Brother and talks about brotherhood and brotherly love, loyalty and looking out for each other no matter the circumstances.
