Current Status: So stoked to finally be playing the House of Blues in Anaheim. It is an honor to be on the same stage from when I first saw New Found Glory.
Band Name: Enter The Paradox
About Us & History: Enter The Paradox is not just a sound, but musical poetry - a melting pot of styles forming a new and exciting experience that has been evolving since front-man Brian Bolen first started cutting tracks in Los Angeles, CA during the summer of 2012. A blend of cutting-edge rock, psychedelic, pop-punk, and hardcore fused together, bring their sound together in ways never before heard. The screams and staccato-like vocals effortlessly provided by Bolen as well as powerful harmonies and apathetic choruses help drive the emotion that Enter The Paradox skillfully embraces.
Bolen’s unique sound and technical mastery of the guitar brings a forceful and captivating tone to the band, as well as his lyrics which brings a story of love, trust, betrayal, revenge, and mayhem to life. Teaming up with friends Reid Cunningham in the summer of 2012 and Ben Garland in 2014 to complete the members of Enter The Paradox, Garland provides his hardcore-influenced rhythm and veraciously fueled vocals, as well as Cunningham’s precise execution of metal and jazz technique on drums; they complete this power house of rock headed straight to the 4th dimension.
Enter The Paradox’s debut album, Love, Loyalty and Mayhem: Part 1, will be released in Summer 2015 including the stand-out single “Sweet Intentions,” which is influenced by many pop-punk and alternative bands including Blink-182, Muse, New Found Glory and The Used. A contemporary rock release and a high-energy ode to progressive rock and roll from a one-of-a-kind band, Enter The Paradox intends to provide a soundtrack to their listeners’ lives with each song telling an elaborate story for a unique concept album.
“From the beginning, I wanted every album Enter The Paradox made to be the essence of a story brought to life. Not just your typical love story, but one much deeper, with twists and turns you just don’t see coming; I wanted it to embody the feel of a psychological thriller with strong archetypal characters and themes,” Bolen states.
With a string of solid shows booked in Los Angeles at prominent venues like Whiskey a Go-Go, The Roxy, and The Observatory, Enter The Paradox will be gearing up in 2015 for new dates supporting their debut album. An accompanying music video for their single “Sweet Intentions” is out now.
